What Neighborhood Contractors Does

Neighborhood Contractors helps homeowners and contractors connect through recommendations and introductions.

Neighborhood Contractors is not a contractor, employment agency, bidding marketplace, or party to any agreement between a homeowner and contractor.

Recommendations

Contractors may be brought to our attention through recommendations from previous customers. A recommendation reflects that customer’s experience and does not constitute a guarantee, certification, endorsement, or warranty by Neighborhood Contractors.

Introductions

Neighborhood Contractors may provide information to help a homeowner and contractor decide whether they would like to connect.

Neither party is required to proceed with an introduction or project.

Hiring Decisions

Homeowners are responsible for deciding whether a contractor is appropriate for their project, including independently confirming licensing, insurance, references, permits, pricing, contracts, and any other requirements they consider important.

Contractor Responsibility

Contractors are responsible for their own business practices, qualifications, licensing, insurance, estimates, contracts, scheduling, workmanship, employees or subcontractors, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Projects and Agreements

Any estimate, contract, payment, warranty, dispute, or other agreement concerning a project is solely between the homeowner and contractor.

Neighborhood Contractors is not a party to those agreements.

No Guarantee

Neighborhood Contractors cannot guarantee contractor availability, project acceptance, workmanship, pricing, schedules, results, or that an introduction will result in a project.

Participation

Neighborhood Contractors may determine whether a contractor participates in the network and may discontinue participation or introductions when appropriate.
