Why a pilot?
To validate the flow with real people, tighten clarity, and build a founding network the right way — through proven relationships, not volume.
Private Pilot. Small by design.
This pilot is invite-only and founder-led — limited to homeowners and contractors with proven relationships. The goal is simple: build a high-trust network the same way good referrals already happen, just cleaner.
Pilot phase: introductions are limited, capacity is intentionally capped, and we keep expectations clean with a simple process and a clean handoff after acceptance.
A small, high-trust introduction system — not a marketplace. No bidding, no rankings, no lead buying. We route one good-fit introduction at a time, coordinate early communication, then step out after acceptance.
To validate the flow with real people, tighten clarity, and build a founding network the right way — through proven relationships, not volume.
Homeowners and contractors with a real track record together — the kind of referral you’d confidently make to a friend or family member.
Cleaner intros, fewer time-wasters, respectful declines when it’s not a fit, and smooth handoffs when it is.
During the private pilot, access is limited by invitation and real-world experience — this is how we protect trust.
These guardrails keep the pilot small, fair, and high-trust while we validate the process.
Tip: If you’re inviting a contractor and that trade is full, we’ll reply with next steps and options.
Founding Trial contractors are on a temporary 6–12 month trial while we stabilize operations and confirm reliability.
Pilot phase: we’re not collecting payments yet. The long-term model includes a $12 Referral Credit for homeowner introductions and contractor Invite Credits for acceptance capacity.
No bidding. No rankings. No price-shopping comparisons. The goal is one good-fit introduction — not a list to browse.
The pilot is founder-led and intentionally hands-on. We keep timing predictable and the process clear.
Share scope + city/ZIP. If it’s a strong fit, we route a single best-fit introduction.
During the intro stage, we relay early communication and confirm next steps (typically within one business day).
Contractors can accept or decline based on fit and workload. Declines are normal and protect quality.
After acceptance and contact exchange, you work directly together — scheduling, estimates, and the project itself.
Homeowners can introduce a contractor they trust to a friend/family member’s project. This is how the pilot grows — through real relationships.
Capacity is capped by trade during pilot. If a trade is full, we waitlist additional invites.
Neighborhood Contractors exists to make a clean, trust-first introduction. Once it’s a fit and contact info is shared, the homeowner and contractor work directly — the project is theirs.
The site can be viewed publicly, but pilot participation is limited to invited homeowners and trusted contractors. If someone needs help, they can contact us and we’ll advise next steps.
During pilot we limit each trade to two active contractors. If a trade is full, we’ll reply with options: waitlist, or a free request routed to the current pilot group.
Not yet. We’re validating the process with a small trusted group first. The long-term model includes a $12 Referral Credit for homeowner introductions and Invite Credits for contractor acceptance capacity.
Invites are confirmed directly through email or personal outreach. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll confirm.
If you’re part of the pilot group, submit a free request or invite a trusted contractor to help a friend/family project.
